Ordered an Asus barebones laptop on Monday October 11. The price was the lowest that I could find and it was available with free shipping. I emailed customer support before to measure their response time in case I did have a problem. The response was speedy and came within minutes. The only worry I had during the whole process was that the UPS tracking number took a while to get posted and I was concerned about the shipping time. However I really had nothing to worry about since it did get sent out the next day (Tues.) and I received it on a Friday. The packaging was very sufficient and nothing was damaged when it arrived. Im actually typing this review on the new laptop. All in all, not bad. Just get the tracking number out sooner and everything will be perfect!

Very good experience overall. I searched everywhere and found no better place to buy a PC by selecting its components. The store has an excellent selection of parts and low prices. Before ordering, I contacted the store by phone to see if they could accomodate a couple of unusual requests, and the person I spoke with was smart, knowledgeable, and kind (and they did accomodate my requests). The computer was delivered quickly and works just fine. I dont think it can get any better than this.

Overall it was a decent purchasing experience. I have to say that the lack of APO address shipping disappointed me, as I am active duty military overseas. I was also disappointed in the fact that none of the components I bought came packaged with the cables or hardware necessary for complete installation of them. However, for the prices I received them at I cannot be fully displeased with the company.

Quite satisfied with the experience, the turnaround time was excellent, the shipping was very fast.Their service was very good and advised me accordingly, the only disapointment I had was the package only included the original retail box of the motherboard but not the CPU and case lacked a PCI slot cover on the case and a case screw was missing(These minute details are important as the open PCI slot gives way to dust and the missing screw means the covering is not very secure. I would definitely do business again with them, and very satisified with the product

This is a great store to buy a computer at! I can choose all of my components, so my computer is completely personalized to my needs. It also comes at a great price, for the quality of the system I ordered. They assemble it, and install everything for you so you just get it, and it works instantly. The only part I was displeased with was the graphics card selection, which I needed a high end ATI Radeon- they didnt have that. Otherwise, I like the experience. The next time I get a new computer, Id turn to Alpha PC Store first!

After viewing pictures and reviews from other sites. I matched the motherboard a7n8x, 2500 processor and case w/window that I wanted. I was unable to do the same on e-bay. I would make sure not to order 1 stick of ram to take advantage of dual channel. I almost made that mistake. The warranty is only 6 months and that isnt clearly stated on site. Package arrived fast and everything so far is working fine.

Its rare to buy electronics on-line without the merchant trying to cheat you with some hidden nonsense. Any merchant that does what they claim deserves an excellent rating. Bought a Redhat Linux system. Product arrived promptly, with everything as advertised. When I checked out the machine, I found the CD-RW drive was only partially working. Did software troubleshooting came up with nothing. Then started an email conversation with their customer service. Though they tried, they werent much help in the troubleshooting, but when I suggested a hardware problem and offered to do the replacement {my preference}, they immediately supplied an RMA number for the CD-RW drive. It cost me a few bucks for shipping to get the drive to them. Got the new drive about a week later and all is good.
